Little Sharks Dental Clinic
Case study

A dentist's website that feels like a friend.

Little Sharks is a pediatric dental clinic in Kondapur, Hyderabad, led by Dr. G. Sreeja Reddy (MDS, Pedodontics). We designed and built a site that speaks to parents and children at once: gentle, playful and clear, with booking never more than a tap away.

The challenge

Parents choosing a dentist for their child are really choosing who their child will trust. A clinical, generic dental site works against that before anyone walks through the door.

  • Nerves start early

The site had to make the clinic feel safe and friendly to a child, and reassuring to the parent reading over their shoulder.

  • Specialist care, plainly put

Twelve areas of treatment, from laughing gas therapy to myofunctional therapy, needed to read clearly to parents, not like a textbook.

  • Booking had to be effortless

The clinic takes bookings on WhatsApp, so every page needed a short path to a message or a call.

  • Meet the doctor first

Parents want to know who will treat their child, so the doctor's qualifications and approach had to be easy to find.

02

Our approach

Design for the parent, delight the child.

  1. 01

    Playful, not childish

A bright brand blue, soft pastel tones for each treatment, a shark mascot and illustrated scenes that feel friendly without losing clinical credibility.

  2. 02

    Show, don't scare

An interactive before-and-after slider uses illustrations rather than clinical photos, so parents see the outcome without the worry.

  3. 03

    WhatsApp everywhere

Booking buttons open WhatsApp with a friendly message already written, with a call option right beside them.

  4. 04

    Answer the worries up front

A visit walkthrough, first-visit tips and parent FAQs cover what anxious families want to know.

03

The details

Interaction

Before and after, told gently

Five illustrated stories, from a tooth-coloured filling to pit and fissure sealants, each with a slider that turns a worried tooth into a happy one. Both scenes share the same geometry, so the comparison lines up exactly.

  • 01Five illustrated treatment stories
  • 02Drag the slider to compare
  • 03Clearly labelled as illustrations
Booking

Every road leads to WhatsApp

The header, hero, doctor section and closing call to action all open WhatsApp with a message ready to send. Parents who would rather talk get a one-tap call link right beside it.

  • 01Pre-filled booking message
  • 02Click-to-call on every page
  • 03Directions straight into Google Maps
Search

Built to be found locally

Every treatment has its own page, and six parent guides answer the questions families search for. Structured data tells Google this is a pediatric dentist in Kondapur, along with its services, FAQs and articles.

  • 01A page for each of the 12 treatments
  • 02Six parent guides
  • 03Dentist, Service, FAQ and Article structured data
  • 04Sitemap, canonical URLs and share images
05

How it came together

  1. Step 01

    Understand the care

Turned the clinic's own treatment document into twelve plain-language service areas.

  2. Step 02

    Build the brand world

A blue-and-pastel palette, the shark mascot and illustrated scenes made for children.

  3. Step 03

    Design and build

Four pages, the before-and-after slider and WhatsApp booking throughout.

  4. Step 04

    Polish and make it findable

Tuned every page for small screens, then added treatment pages, parent guides and structured data for local search.

06

The outcome

Little Sharks now has a site that feels like the clinic itself: warm, calm and ready for a nervous first visit.

  • Booking in a tap

Parents go from reading to booking without filling in a form.

  • Care explained clearly

Every treatment has its own plain-language page, ready for parents searching for it.

  • A doctor parents can meet first

Dr. Sreeja's qualifications and approach are front and centre.
